From the Heart of Rev. D. Job, Founder of CREED Ministries
I am delighted to share my heartfelt journey and the vision behind the formation of CREED Ministries.
When I was about eleven years old, a life-changing moment occurred in my village, Basireddy Palem, in Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh. A team led by the District Collector visited our village to encourage the poor to take advantage of a Government housing scheme. Sadly, most of the villagers, influenced by local landlords, refused the offer. As a young boy, I didn’t fully understand the conspiracy behind it, but I remember thinking deeply:
“If I were in the Collector’s position, I would ensure that my people had homes, even if I had to build them myself.”
That moment planted a lasting seed of compassion in my heart — a desire to uplift the underprivileged and ensure that no one is left without basic needs or dignity.
After completing my schooling, I pursued Theological Studies at Ramapatnam Baptist Theological Seminary, affiliated with the Senate of Serampore University. Upon graduation, I began ministering in nearby villages, particularly in Gundlapalem. During this time, I visited many remote communities across South and North India and witnessed heartbreaking poverty and suffering.
I realized that the root cause of much of this suffering is the lack of education. Illiteracy robs awareness, confidence, and opportunity from individuals and leads many into harmful habits such as alcoholism, gambling, and superstition — leaving them trapped in dependency and exploitation by those in power.
To strengthen my ability to communicate and serve effectively, I later pursued advanced language studies at The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad, where I completed Proficiency in English and Advanced English courses during the academic year 2009–2010. This training enhanced my communication skills and helped me reach people from diverse backgrounds with clarity and confidence.
Deeply moved by the suffering I had witnessed, and inspired by that childhood memory of the Collector’s visit, I committed my life to helping these communities. When I shared my vision with my most respected mentor, M. Alfred Jaya Rao, he guided and encouraged me to establish “CREED Ministries.” Under his wise counsel and blessings, and together with some of my like-minded friends, we laid the foundation for this voluntary organization.
In 2002, I founded CHRISTIAN RURAL EDUCATIONAL AND ECONOMICAL DEVELOPMENT MINISTRIES (CREED Ministries) — with a mission to serve the poor through education, economic empowerment, and holistic community support.
Today, CREED Ministries continues to work with compassion and determination to uplift the lives of downtrodden people and restore hope. I warmly invite you to join hands with us — to share your love, support, and generosity in this noble mission of transforming the lives of the deprived and building a brighter, more just society.
With heartfelt gratitude,

D. Job , Executive Secretary & Chief Functionary
