    • DRINKING WATER PROGRAMME

    The struggle for drinking water continues in Prakasam district, irrespective of rural or urban context. There are villages where 300 to 600 feet depth bore wells are dug but for in vain. The availability of groundwater is poor in the western part of the district. CREED networked with RWS department in effectively digging bore wells at 3 villages; which are said to be the most affected villages for lack of drinking water, especially summer season. After executing drilling work, the bore water is tested and now used to drink by the village members. What a joy to the village and its inhabitants!
